Key Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering the payroll process from start to finish.
- Collaborating with department managers to ensure accurate approval of shifts and adherence to rosters.
- Verifying breaks, deductions, and additions to ensure precision in payroll calculations.
- Generating ABA files for financial processing.
- Distributing pay slips after approval by the Managing Director.
- Assisting with the maintenance of the payroll program, ensuring all systems (rostering, leave, employee information, qualifications, payments) function correctly.
- Weekly submission of Superannuation payments to BEAM for the finance department.
- Liaising with government departments (Apprentice Providers/Trainers) and submitting notifications for new apprentices, providing required documentation.
- Assisting the Compliance & Operations Manager and General Manager with necessary documentation as cases arise.
- General HR assistance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Experience using ELMO is desired but not essential
- Experience using Excel
