Liquid HR Payroll is a small yet rapidly growing Managed Payroll Services business, we pride ourselves on the superior service we provide to our clients. Due to ongoing growth, we have a newly created role for a passionate Payroll and Implementation superstar to join our team and add even more value to our reputable business.

We offer remote-first and flexible working arrangements but love to have team collaboration days also.
The Role
As a Payroll and Implementation Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Provision of advice and acting as a subject matter expert on Australian payroll legislation.
- Management of new client onboarding and end-to-end implementation from the investigative stages to go-live, system configuration and testing, training and payroll processing.
- Provision of outstanding customer service and communication to clients whether it be face-to-face, virtual, email or by phone.
- Full function payroll processing – weekly, fortnightly, monthly and ad-hoc.
- Handover of newly implemented clients to payroll consulting team.
- Payroll consultancy, auditing and reconciliations.
- Working with Employment Hero software – Payroll & HRIS.
Our ideal future team member will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll with a minimum of 2 years implementation experience.
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Relevant experience using Employment Hero software advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
- Curiosity and an exceptional eye for detail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of and experience with the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A love for Payroll and looking to further develop your career for the long term with a business that is invested in its people and services.
