KEY POSITION OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of Payroll System Implementations for a range of business clients. This involves not only implementing systems but also providing comprehensive training and ongoing support services to both our clients and our team members.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their payroll needs, challenges, and objectives. Analyse client payroll processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on payroll best practices, compliance issues, and cost-saving opportunities. Develop customised payroll solutions tailored to each client's unique requirements.
- Implementation and Training: Assist clients with the implementation of new payroll systems or software. Provide training and support to client staff on using payroll systems effectively. Ensure a smooth transition during payroll system upgrades or migrations.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and guidelines. Conduct audits of client payroll records to ensure compliance and accuracy. Assist in other compliance-related matters.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce errors and enhance productivity. Monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of payroll processes.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor on payroll matters. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns. Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions to meet their evolving requirements.

Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Payroll, Modern Awards, and the NES.
- Attention to detail and exceptional time management skills.
- Proven experience in payroll system implementation.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as required.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple clients from different industries.
Previous Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a payroll processing role.
- Proficient in using payroll/HR IT Systems, preferably KeyPay and Employment Hero.
- Previous experience implementing Payroll/HR IT Systems is essential.

- Assertive and diplomatic when dealing with clients.
- Excellent researching ability and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy with a passion for cloud technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

Qualifications & Training
