AddressWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Data operator to join our team. As Payroll Data operator, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, processing, and maintaining employee Payroll Data.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate wages, as well as compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Additionally, the ability to apply the Modern awards with the PALM scheme concurrently and assist with ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
- Input and process employee data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify the accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Create and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters professionally and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with Modern awards, NES and fairwork regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information at all times
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Requirements
- Proven experience as a payroll clerk or similar role
- Proficiency in excel, with demonstrated ability to work efficiently with large datasets.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Calculate wages according to the specific provisions of the Horticultural award.
- Knowledge of payroll principles, regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with finance team and external stakeholders

- Understanding of the Palm Scheme and Horticultural Award
