The Opportunity:
 
With flexibility for full-time or part-time, this position in Kingaroy will assist with all hands-on duties associated with payroll and HUMAN RESOURCES.

The Employer:
 
Kewpie commenced as a locally owned South Burnett business in 1968 and now includes several enterprises that are operated under the Kewpie banner servicing a diverse range of rural interests.
 
Over 55 staff work in facilities within the South Burnett and all payroll and HR processes are centralised in Kingaroy.
 
The Duties:
 
The position will provide diverse payroll and HR assistance in the following areas:
  • Fortnightly electronic time sheets and payroll data for over 55 staff.
  • Coordination and support for staff recruitment and selection.
  • Preparation of employment contracts.
  • Onboarding and inductions.
  • Application of Award entitlements.
  • Maintenance of staff records and safety documentation.
  • Preparation of and issuing policy and procedure updates.
  • Employee resignations and terminations including exit interviews.
The Requirements:
 
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
  • 3+ years of payroll and/or HR experience.
  • High level communication skills including the ability to listen and engage.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Proven organizational, time management and administration skills.
  • A highly developed understanding and application of confidentiality.
  • A willingness to learn and complete on-the-job training.
Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in payroll / accounts / HR related fields.
  • Workplace Health & Safety qualifications or experience.
  • Workplace training qualifications or experience.
  • Experience using BMO for payroll and/or HR programmes.
