About This Opportunity
Locally known as the Assistant, Employee Services, the role provides administrative support to the day-to-day operational HR activities.
You will be primarily responsible for processing Transactions and data related to the employee lifecycle such as recruitment and appointments, immigration, leave, academic study programs, payroll and remuneration administration.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide efficient, consistent and accurate transactional processing and data entry to support the delivery of high-quality HR services.
Review and develop standardised processes and operating procedures, ensuring employment-related information is managed and stored effectively.
Generate and maintain regular HRIS transactions reports covering end to end HR activity, and implements appropriate actions, communications and workflows.
Assist in the testing of HRIS upgrades (service pack amendment) that impact on the operation of the People Operations Unit.
This is a full-time (100%), fixed-term position until April 2024.
At HEW level 4, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $70,235.35 - $74,468.15, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $82,175.36 - $87,127.74 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.
About You
Previous experience in a similar HR administration role with an understanding of large HRIS systems.
Ability to problem solve and think analytically while maintaining high levels of data integrity to employment-related data and documentation.
Strong organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal forms with a strong commitment to exceptional client service.
The successful candidate may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
