The Company
This company is a well-respected long-standing expert in the construction industry who have a strong presence here in WA and also interstate. They have grown their footprint in size and portfolio in WA in recent years which has provided them with project opportunities across a number of sectors mainly in the Construction, Industrial, fit out and refurbishment.
Due to recent project wins and a solid performance in past projects, they are now in the market for a driven and experienced Site Manager to join the team.
The Position

• Conduct inductions for new subcontractors and site employees.
• Keep the Project Manager up to date with project progress and programme reports.
• Day-to-day management of subcontractors and site employees to optimise project results.
• Establish the site in coordination with all relevant WHS requirements and established workplace rules.
• Liaise with security personnel, safety representatives and the client to resolve any potential construction related issues.
• Additional HSE responsibilities such as workplace inspections, hazard/incident reports, permit issues, toolbox talks and safety observations.
• Ensure all scheduled works are completed within the given time frame.
• Maintenance of relevant site documentation

Skills and Experience

• Must have site management experience in Fit out and construction – within Australian market.
• Leadership and management experience - 5/6 Years
• Must be motivated, honest, organised and enthusiastic.
• Strong knowledge in Australian building regs and codes
• Ability to provide Health and Safety guidance and support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
