Payroll Officer – Permanent Part Time 3 Days per Week.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced payroll person to join our Head Office team based in the CBD of Grafton, NSW. This role has ownership of all the payroll administration and processing functions as well as supporting the finance team.
We are flexible about hours but see the role working Monday through to Wednesday.
Working with managers across multiple branches the role processes manual trip information as well as automated time recording data and produces a weekly payroll utilising MYOB. The role also maintains employee payroll records and facilitates statutory and employee payment obligations. Managing leave applications with the respective managers, setting up new employees, talking to our people about pay queries are essential components of the role.
Supporting the finance team on projects will provide variety and career development opportunities as the company continues to grow and focuses on promotion from within wherever possible.

The Person

A minimum of three years’ experience in MYOB payroll or similar is mandatory as would an understanding of modern awards. Experience in bookkeeping techniques would be well regarded.
