The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. This role will assist with the end-to-end payroll processing, prove exceptional support to employees, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately input payroll data including hours worked, overtime, and deductions;
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees by setting up payroll accounts and ensuring all relevant information is captured;
- Handle payroll aspects of employee terminations, ensuring final payments and entitlements are processed correctly; and
- Provide assistance to the Senior Payroll Officer with various payroll-related tasks.
Within the context of the role described, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following expertise:
- High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and record-keeping;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support senior staff.
