AddressMAYDAY Recruitment is proud to partner with a Global Leader in Water, Waste and Energy Management to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer for their Pyrmont office.
This fast-paced role gives the opportunity to become an integral part of the payroll department, which manages the monthly and weekly pay cycles for 5600 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

- An annual salary of up to $110,000 + super + annual bonus.
The role:
- Be the go to in the team for complex payroll queries and give advice to Payroll Officers and the wider business,
- Understand and ensure the accurate implementation of modern awards and EBAs,
- Manage two monthly pay cycles for salaried employees,
- Respond promptly and efficiently to staff queries and ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner,
- Assist management with payroll projects when required,
- Manage confidential employee information and ensure accurate documentation and compliance in line with ANZ policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in end-end payroll processing,
- A comprehensive understanding of modern awards and EBAs,
- Proficient payroll systems experience (SAP Success Factors, ECP preferred; knowledge of Kronos desirable),
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel,
- Full working rights within Australia.
