About the Role:
Workpac are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our esteemed client in the resources sector. As a Payroll Officer based in Perth, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts team by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices accurately and within a timely manner to facilitate prompt payments. Working within a close-knit Accounts Payable team, you will collectively contribute to the smooth operation of the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed into our Accounting System (Pronto) with the necessary approvals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process, verify, and reconcile invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure the efficient functioning of the accounts payable function.
Input invoices into the Accounting System (Pronto) with the relevant approvals.
Work diligently to meet payment deadlines and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable function.
Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software applications.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate within the team and with external stakeholders.
Mandatory WA Driver's License.
