We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Officer who has an Accounts background and comes equipped with organizational skills, confidentiality and a can-do attitude along with the capability to achieve set responsibilities.
We are a medium sized, WA-based family business in the healthcare sector, and due to rapid growth, we find ourselves looking for a new member to join our fast-growing team. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer with proven hands-on experience to help drive this next stage.
This is a terrific opportunity for career advancement for a practical, hands-on experienced Payroll and Accounting individual.
YOU:
- Possess a proven understanding of both Payroll and Accounts processes.
- Have a pro-active approach towards all aspects of your role.
- Have an exceptional eye for detail with great organizational skills.
- Are able to multitask and manage the different components of the role.
- Will take responsibility for the performance and outputs of your role.
- Are able to work both with internal and external staff to ensure that Payroll, AR & AP run smoothly.
- Liaise with external Accountant where necessary.
PREFERRED:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- An ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
- Proven understanding of Payroll processes, AR & AP and a willingness to assist your fellow colleagues as and when required.
- Advanced knowledge and application of Xero and Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
- Although not necessary, experience in the health care sector, NDIS, HCP would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of EntireHR along with government portals e.g., Proda would be advantageous
