About the Role:
We're hiring a part-time Human Resources Officer to join our client's expanding team at their new facility in Malaga, WA. In this role, you'll be working in a supportive and inclusive environment, taking full ownership of HR and Payroll responsibilities. Your tasks will include:
- Reviewing, updating, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
- Handling employee lifecycle activities and administration, ensuring legal compliance and best practices.
- Conducting staff training as per business requirements and development plans.
- Cultivating a positive culture through internal communication, employee engagement activities, and clear policies and processes.
- Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, including reporting, reconciliations, and payments.
- Interpreting awards and EBAs, conducting salary benchmarking, and formalizing the company review process.
- Providing input and guidance on people management and risk mitigation.
- Maintaining and reporting on people data and analytics.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinating Work Health and Safety administration.

About You:
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR roles.
- Thorough understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, resolution, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes efficiently.
- Professional, warm, and supportive approach to tasks and interactions.
