Payroll Officer - Temp - Perm Role - Mascot - Immediate Start

Based near Mascot, this prominent organisation have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to start ASAP on a temporary basis with a view to go permanent

Reporting to Payroll Manager you will be responsible for the efficient & accurate running of the payroll function using Micropay payroll system in a team.

Duties are outlined but not limited to the following:

• High volume payroll processing experience as part of a team using Micropay Payroll System.
• Strong on Superannuation & LSL Processing
• Ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly.
• Can operate in a fast changing environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Monthly reconciliations & reporting
• Setting up new employees & updating employee information
• Checking & entering all timesheets
• Termination calculations & reconciliations of salary packaging

Skills Required:

• Current experience using Micropay Meridian is highly desirable!
• Strong, confident & up to date payroll knowledge.
• Minimum of 1-2 yrs full function, end to end payroll processing experience.
• Ability to priorities workflows, work autonomously with high attention to detail.
