Payroll Specialist

This prestigious membership organised based in the Eastern Suburbs is a unique setting to call a workplace. Surrounded by excellence in all areas, the Payroll Specialist plays an important role in the operation of a high-performance environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role includes:

• Operating in a standalone role, you will be responsible for managing a payroll of circa 250 employees across weekly pay runs
• Calculating payroll tax, superannuation and annual leave entitlements
• Handling end of month and year end payroll reconciliations, as well as processing new starters and terminations
• Providing support to HR team and Finance teams when required

Your Skills

• You will come with previous experience managing a payroll of a similar size in a standalone role and have used a Time and Attendance system
• It is desirable that you have previously worked on a MicrOpay payroll. However, we are open to considering experience using other payroll systems
• Ability to deliver accurate results under pressure from multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
• You are genuinely seeking a part time (3 days a week) permanent opportunity
