Your OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take a step into a supportive environment. Location flexibility at 100 Arthur Street North Sydney, or Bankstown Airport.
You wll be responsible for executing all aspects of payroll processing for our Australian entities along with an astute team of professionals. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
You have a clear understanding of payroll processing, with the ability to think globally across process and systems, and act locally.
Your Responsibilities- end-to-end payroll processing for fortnightly and monthly pay cycles as assigned.
- Handle all aspects of payroll administration, including but not limited to, timesheet processing, leave management, employee deductions, New starters and terminations.
- Responding to payroll enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll audits as needed
- Month end reporting and GL posting.
- Compliance with Labour Agreements and other industrial instruments for time registration.
- Thorough payroll experience in CHRIS21/iCHRIS is essential.
- 5 years+ of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Experience in payroll management across multiple entities, and supporting payroll projects.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- An ability to think globally, and act locally.
- Experience in blue and white collar environments, across multiple enterprise agreements.
