- We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the project team as a Payroll Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing end-to-end payroll processes, including processing payroll, deductions, and adjustments
- Handling superannuation contributions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Conducting reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
- Managing payroll tax calculations and submissions in accordance with legislative requirements
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of industry awards and regulations
- Onboarding new employees, setting up payroll records and ensuring compliance
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems, particularly in payroll modules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
Requirements:- Must have experience using Chris21
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Confident working in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with superannuation and payroll tax regulations
- Knowledge of industry awards and their application in payroll processing
- Previous experience in professional or financial services would be strongly advantageous
