Our client is a large, growing, not for profit organisation based in Parramatta who is looking for an Insights & Reporting Analyst to join their People & Culture team and be responsible for the internal reporting framework, data analysis and providing key insights to influence the P&C strategy.
The Role:This role involves working with People & Culture leaders to identify and understand the key requirements that will contribute towards generating critical insights. Also an opportunity to provide input as the organisation transitions to a new HRIS.
Areas of Accountability:
- Transform complex data into consumable insights through data analysis.
- Interpreting data, analysing results and providing business-friendly, actionable reporting and insights.
- Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns relating to key workforce indicators in complex datasets.
- Responding to ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests with meaningful workforce insights.
- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards for effective data visualisation.
- Assist in identifying information gaps and refining our People & Culture focus on data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with teams across People & Culture to assist with providing a reliable platform through different tools to execute projects.
- Maintaining the integrity and quality of the data in systems and project deliverables.
- Assist in the transition from old to new - understanding what the legacy systems can provide while contributing to the design and implementation of a new HRIS.
- Ensuring accurate, timely and secure data management to support self-service analytics.
- Prior experience in the workforce domain & familiarity with relevant workforce terminology & KPIs employee relations, engagement & organisational development.
- Reporting experience with google sheets, google app scripts and google data studio (real time updates).
- Experience with HRIS systems including Success Factors.
- Data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau) desirable.
- Python, Alteryx - desirable.
- Strong data storytelling skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Good attention to detail to identify and rectify inconsistencies in data.
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Can balance and prioritise project work and BAU activity.
