You will be part of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO) that is partnered with Technology’s Group Security function to challenge the status quo on delivering meaningful Cybersecurity insights. This CoE is a multi-disciplinary team with existing Chapters across the Data Engineering, Insights Analytics and Data Science space. In this role
Your role as a Senior Insights Analyst will be responsible for delivering end-to-end insights utilising advanced analytical skills to allow Cybersecurity stakeholders to understand a) their cyber control status, b) their security posture, and c) the appropriate proactive security action that best buys down risk. These insights will be delivered via a mixture of technical skills such as SQL, R, Python and/or Tableau, that will ultimately be consumed by a range of audiences from Board level down to operational users.
Delivering actionable analytical insights will contribute to protecting the Group’s data, people, technology and customers; ultimately to tell a story with data and be able to communicate findings back to a range of stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting our Group Security partners – Embedding the analytics in the businesses we support and providing deep insight to enable data-driven decision-making. You will be seen as a trusted advisor and are helping to address and solve for key business problems
Delivering Insights – Finding opportunities to deliver relevant and effective analytical insights in a timely manner. Ensure that the insights are actionable and working with our partners to allow them to deliver on our analytics.
Ownership and accountability – You will own the project activities that support the required strategic outcomes. You will drive the right processes and analytical methodology that will ensure the right outcomes. You will also be responsible for timeliness and completeness of your projects you are driving.
Effectively presenting to varied stakeholders (e.g. demos, presentations, meetings and one on one). Able to present information in meaningful, creative ways that are simple to understand and easy to implement.

Challenge the status quo – Working with the CoE to drive positive change in the way we operate be it better ways to deliver insights, visualisation, use of generative AI or simply team ways of working.
Demonstrated experience working in roles involving data analysis, Insights and Analytics or similar background with a strong attention to detail and focus on manipulating data, accuracy of results and data quality
Experience in delivering work using SQL tools, Python/R or powershell
Strong proficiency in BI Tools, such as Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep or Power BI
A continuous drive to develop their skillset with learning new tools and methodologies, particularly on AWS cloud
Proactive, inquisitive, and driven self-starter who can take a short brief and action it – able to demonstrate the ‘Should We?’ test
Experience with AWS is highly desirable
Experience with risk and/or Cyber domain is highly desirable
