Join our dedicated team providing critical support to individuals experiencing high levels of suicidal ideation. At our drop-in service, you will:
- Work through suicidal thoughts with clients and help them develop safety plans.
- Respond to clients as they arrive, offering peer mentoring and educational resources.
- Utilise your lived experience to connect with clients and reflect on shared struggles, creating a supportive environment.
- Benefit from the presence and support of an on-site clinician for cases requiring escalation, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Shifts to be covered are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 1330 to 2200. You will be required to work one of these shifts each week, with a consistent roster

Our location at 22 Stewart Street, Newcastle, is centrally situated with excellent public transport access and convenient parking available behind the Safe Haven building

Requirements:
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and ability to travel and work across different locations as required.
