As an Analyst in Intelligent Automation, you’ll be working as part of a high performing cross-functional team that focuses on workflow, process modelling and automation. You will work to deeply understand the business environment to refine requirements to increase the quality and efficiency of the customer outcome being delivered by the Squad and ensure the stability of systems.
You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the business and its customer related drivers as well as the technical systems that support the business. As an Analyst it is expected that you will be a go-to person for solving problems in your Domain of expertise.

What will your day look like
As a Pega Analyst, you will deliver value for ANZ. You will understand
- Partnering with our stakeholders; key enablers, vendor teams & squad for scoping & requirements workshopping & documentation.
- Requirements gathering and definition through to supporting functional design specification and testing outcomes.
- Contributing towards solutions that are consistent with the standards.
- Technology and business documentations required as part of ANZ Delivery Framework (ADF).
- Support the test team (Functional / UAT) through the testing process.
- Identify and propose ways to address constraints that hinder progress, escalating as appropriate.
- Analyze vendor product release notes and identify the area that a change will impact the business flow.
- Understand the business flows and able to update / contribute to the changes.
- Practice agile principle & adhere to the cadence set by the squad.
What will you bring?
We know not everyone will bring all of the skills and experience, and at ANZ we are focused on people bringing a growth mindset to their approach to work. Some of the skills we are looking for are below, but don’t worry if you don’t have all of these as learning on the job is the way we work.
But back to some of the skills –
- Total experience of 4 to 6 years as the role demands T-shaped skills in terms of operating in a multi-disciplinary squad, is well-versed in agile methodologies, and can establish broad network with the business, platform and integration teams.
- Experience in translating requirements into user stories & acceptance criteria, supporting development, testing and implementation of application.
- Good understanding of Pega® workflow and integration systems, be able to recommend the right approach to problems.
- Coordinate UAT, BVT with business users.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of agile development practices, JIRA and Confluence
- A desire to continuously learn new techniques / technologies and bring innovative ideas into the Squad.
- Helps deliver initiative milestones and “own” the impacts to ensure all changes impact customers and frontline staff in a positive way.
- Certified Pega® BA / Knowledge in Pega workflow is a must.
- Basic knowledge of Signavio® / process modelling tool is a plus.
- Good scrum mastery skills is a plus.
