You will utilize various testing techniques, frameworks, and tools to identify and exploit vulnerabilities and recommend technical solutions for mitigation. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, ethical conduct, and a commitment to helping clients improve their security defenses.This role is based on-site in Adelaide and can be taken as a Contract or Permanent opportunity.About youResponsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Conduct penetration testing of ICT applications and gateway infrastructure to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Utilize a variety of testing techniques, frameworks, and tools to assess security posture.
- Develop specific plans and procedures for penetration tests based on client requirements.
- Record approaches, techniques, and results for penetration test reports.
- Recommend technical solutions for identified vulnerabilities and assist clients in implementing remediation measures.
- Adhere to agreed penetration test guidelines and objectives, ensuring ethical conduct throughout the testing process
- Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV
- A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly desirable
- Proficiency in penetration testing techniques, frameworks, and tools.
- Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
- Experience in developing penetration test plans and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ethical conduct and adherence to penetration test guidelines and objectives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
