At Healthscope we realise how hard you've studied to get to this point. Taking the next step in your career is an important milestone. With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Peninsula Private Hospital has been providing healthcare services to the Redcliffe Peninsula community for over 30 years. The 70 patient-bed Private Hospital, situated in Kippa Ring, provides medical, surgical and rehabilitation healthcare services. Our healthcare team treat patients with dignity and respect, ensuring that each patient receives the best quality care. Our patients health and fast recovery is paramount and we will provide comfort, assistance and bespoke care to each patient.

Registered Nurses at Healthscope perform a wide range of activities in pursuit of delivering a high quality patient experience. Every day is different and may include assessing patients, administering medications, providing wound care and educating patients and their families about health conditions. You will need to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, advocate for your patients and provide support to patients and their families. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
