People and Culture Administration Support

Forsyths provides Business and Financial Services across the New England and North West of NSW. We therefore need a motivated person wanting to support and grow our people as well as seeking their own career development through exploring new ways to improve the way we do things.

The role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Administration Support to join our People and Culture Team.

This is a busy role providing a key point of contact for People and Culture related queries and it would suit someone who looking for a career in Human Resources or similar in the long term. 

While this is a full time position, part time hours would be considered for the right candidate. 

This role will be based in our Tamworth Office.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Attending to team member enquiries
  • Recruitment and onboarding administration
  • Maintaining up to date personnel records
  • Assist in monthly reconciliation of team member leave records
  • Assist in preparation of career development documentation and administration. 
  • General HR correspondence and administration as required.

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have previous administration experience and have a genuine interest in developing a HR career.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Self-motivated with good organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience with Xero would be highly regarded
