Due to an internal promotion, we are proud to be supporting the organisation with sourcing a People & Culture Business Partner with a varied portfolio. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will establish and maintain a strong and supportive partnership between the operational business unit and People, Culture and Safety, providing effective, accurate and timely human resources support, advice and coaching to managers and employees across the organisation with a keen focus on building a positive employee experience.
The role has a generalist focus, working across all aspects of human resources, including program development, talent management, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, performance management and employee relations to deliver results and drive a high-performing culture for the benefit of the consumer, stakeholders, and the continued sustainability of the organisation. This role is also accountable for driving and contributing to key initiatives and exciting projects.
With a strong team of specialists in the broader People & Culture team enabling you to focus on genuine partnering, the keys to success will be responsiveness, building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships, and the ability to quickly gain credibility, trust, and a deep understanding of different needs. In addition:
Demonstrated experience in a not-for-profit, family community services, mental health, disability, or volunteer environment, ideally with a blended workforce i.e., corporate and frontline;
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resourcesmanagement, business, or psychology;
Flexible and able to navigate complexity and grey;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including coaching, influencing, and negotiation;
Strong attention to detail and a strong results orientation;
Sound judgement and decision-making skills;
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
The remuneration package is $120-130,000 inclusive of superannuation, commensurate with experience, plus salary packaging (up to $15,900 for living expenses and up to $2,650 for meals/entertainment. To achieve the same benefit without salary packaging you would need a gross salary of $141,229).Join a supportive team, where everyone's contributions matter.
