THE ROLE
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven People and Culture Generalist to support our close-knit team on a full-time basis.
Some of your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- End to end recruitment, selection, and onboarding of our most precious resource, our staff
- Interpretation of Industrial instruments (Awards, Enterprise Agreements, NES, Fair Work Act and other)
- Participation in developing and building organisational guidelines and procedures
- Maintenance of employee records including compliance of relevant employment checks (RSA, RCG, CRC, WWCC etc)
- Assistance with WHS compliance, workers compensation and continuous improvement initiatives in the wellbeing of our staff
- Supporting the performance management function across operational areas
- Providing advice on a range of matters across the group and advocating the company position in supporting best practice
To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following:
- Your smart mind is balanced with a good sense of humour, positivity and care for others and the work you do.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Professionalism, understanding and sensitivity to confidential matters
- Capability of working both independently and in a team environment
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
- Hands-on experience using HR systems such as TANDA and Expr3ss preferred but not essential. Training will be provided
- Technologically savvy, including Microsoft Office programs
