The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a People and Culture Manager to join the team at Shermac. This newly created role will develop and manage all aspects of People, Culture and Human Resources. This role will suit someone who is committed, easy going and has a hands on approach.
Based in Bayswater with 2 days a fortnight in Dallwallinu.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drive and maintain a transparent and productive culture
- Management and coordination of all HR processes and administration
- Talent attraction and retention
- Develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Policy, Procedure and Process management
- Establish and maintain a robust performance management system
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience as a People and Culture or HR Manager
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, best practices and experience managing employee relations matters
- Able to travel to various sites as required
- Excellent communication and advanced relationship building skills
- Excellent mentoring and coaching skills
