Job description

MSWA is one of the most respected and driven disability providers in WA, and we have an incredibly rich and vibrant story to tell! For over 50 years, we have been at the forefront of providing individualised care and support services to those living with neurological conditions (including MS, Motor Neurone, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Acquired Brain Injury and Stroke).
Behind those services are our fantastic team of employees, and we need someone like you to help grow and shape MSWA.
Based in our Belmont/Rivervale Offices, you’ll be joining us as a People & Culture OfficerTalent & Diversity, recruiting predominantly high-volume Community and Care Support Worker positions across the Perth Metro, Bunbury, Busselton, and Albany regions.
They are such vital part of MSWA, providing personal care, domestic assistance, and social support to our clients either in their own homes, or our high support residential facilities.
Whilst each day will present new opportunities and challenges, ultimately, you’ll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end recruiting processes right from advertising, sourcing, and shortlisting great talent, to interview management and on-boarding (including pre-employment checks).
We operate in a unique and competitive industry, and your candidate attraction and candidate management capabilities will be put to good use!
So, if you’re looking for an inhouse recruitment opportunity where you know you’ll be making such a difference and want to work for an organisation that puts their clients at the heart of everything they do, then welcome aboard!
What can you bring to the team?
Previous recruitment experience, either inhouse or agency (whilst disability or aged care recruitment would be beneficial, we’re open to industry background!)
You put the candidate experience at the forefront.
Ability to work in a changing, fast-paced environment.
Creativity – you can find new ways to source talent and think outside the box!
You’re a people person and can build relationships both within the organisation and externally.
The Compliance:
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Full “C class” driving licence.
A little about us:
We exist to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of Western Australians – whatever their needs, whatever their neuro condition. The difference each and every one of our team makes can be felt in thousands of homes across the state.
Our collective efforts enable us to continue meeting the ever-growing demand for our allied health services, accommodation, and Services Centres across the state, as well as our contributions to critical neuro research throughout the world, across the country and importantly right here in Western Australia.
Let us tell you a little about what you’ll get in return for joining our team:
We’ll work with you:
Tell us what working arrangements work for you and we’ll find something that works for everyone.
Salary packaging:
Use some of your salary to pay for everyday expenses before income tax.
Personal and professional growth:
A career that helps you grow via structured training (that we will pay for) makes a big difference.
Generous leave initiatives:
Time is precious, and our range of leave initiatives help you make the most of every moment including leave loading, parental leave, blood donor leave, and grandparents leave to name a few.
Access to exclusive discounts:
Save more on national and local brands.
Health and Wellbeing Incentives:
Great Employee Assistance Program and generous healthcare provider discounts.
Refer and earn:
Know someone else who can make a difference? Successfully referring them to us can earn you a bonus.
Are you ready to apply?
If you’re ready to help us make a difference, apply now and let’s chat about what life looks like at MSWA.
