Job description

Amplify your exposure across the HR function and enhance your generalist skillset in a supportive, energetic team that fosters career progression.

  • Dynamic role supporting the full employee-lifecycle, interacting with senior business leaders.
  • Gain exposure to annual performance, engagement and remuneration cycles.
  • Enjoy a Brisbane CBD location, hybrid working, and competitive salary.
The Company

Are you searching for an exciting opportunity within the Financial Services sector? Look no further! We are currently representing a dynamic and steadily growing company which forms part of a robust ASX-listed organisation with a significant presence across Australia, Asia, and Europe.

Currently experiencing an extended period of growth, our client has demonstrated impressive expansion through strategic acquisitions of multiple businesses, broadening their portfolio and solidifying their position as a leader in the industry.

With a focus on innovation and excellence, this arm of the organisation prides itself on providing top-tier Financial Services to clients across the Eastern seaboard. Joining this team means being part of a forward-thinking People & Culture function committed to delivering exceptional results and driving continued success.

The Team

This position would see you join a small but mighty People & Culture team, who are high-performing and truly collaborative in nature, giving you the perfect environment to develop your generalist Advisory skillset!

You’ll be guided by an experienced people leader who encourages your growth and prioritises your long-term progression. This support will enable you to make meaningful contributions and explore modern people practices within a supportive team environment.

The Opportunity

This generalist role offers a genuine opportunity for hands-on experience across the entire spectrum of HR functions and the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing sound HR advice and keeping the team updated on relevant employment laws and regulations, updating P&C policies as required.
  • Supporting cyclical HR activities such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, and remuneration reviews.
  • Guiding managers and employees through the performance review process and developing performance improvement plans.
  • Providing IR/ER advice to leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Generating HR reports, analysing data, and maintaining accurate HR records and databases.
  • Distributing documents on key people metrics to leadership and General Managers, with key findings and recommendations.
  • Facilitating the company's Group People & Culture Committee to deliver and monitor the success of engagement, diversity & inclusion, and community initiatives.
  • Helping develop the Employee Value Proposition to align with company goals and communicating this effectively to employees.
About You

To be considered for this position you will be an early-stage People & Culture professional, with between 2-5 years’ experience ideally in a professional services orientated environment. You will be looking to advance your career, take on more responsibility, and develop your skill set within a fast-growing business.

You will be polished, driven, and enjoy taking a proactive approach to your work. Further, you will have a confident and professional demeanour, capable of seamlessly collaborating with senior business leaders and earning their trust as a reliable point of contact.

The Process

The process will consist of an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant followed by a first stage interview with the People & Culture Manager, and a second stage interview with a senior business leader.

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes, and motivators.
When you apply on one of our ads, please tell us the pronouns that you use and any reasonable adjustments you may need throughout the interview process.
