Your Role in our Team:
As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will be a strategic partner to the AAPG business, working closely with leadership and team members to align people strategies with business objectives. This role encompasses strategic thinking and hands-on execution across all elements of the employee life-cycle including employee relations, performance management, talent management, recruitment, and organisational change. Additionally, you will lead and support key HR projects and initiatives, including our Skilled Migration Program.
As a growing organisation, we are on a journey to mature our people processes and practices. This role is crucial in supporting the rollout of key people processes and our people strategy, helping us improve, maintain and create effective and supportive working conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, collaborating with the Group P&C Manager to develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational growth and transformation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, promoting a positive work environment and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Guide and support managers in performance management processes, including objective setting, feedback, reviews, and development plans.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, develop talent acquisition strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Assist in managing organisational change initiatives, providing change management support to leaders and employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Lead and support key HR projects and initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a Business Partner or advisor role.
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruiting.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong emotional intelligence, conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Strong ethical standards, ability to maintain confidentiality, and handle HR issues discreetly.
- Strong team player, willingness to share knowledge, and ability to work effectively across different departments.
- Eagerness to stay updated on HR trends, commitment to personal and professional growth, and openness to feedback.
