The Role

This role is a true end to end generalist coordinator role that spans the entire employee cycle and will suit someone that is eager to further their career in Human Resources. You'll play an integral role in supporting our team and our wider business, all while blending teamwork with autonomy.

Each day will be varied and will include: 

  • Handling general people and learning administration
  • Organising firm events driven by the People & Culture team, from R U OK Day to International Women’s Day to independently managing our schools mentor program. 
  • Managing the HRIS (HiBob)
  • Preparing regular reports and analytics using Workday and Excel
  • Recruitment including sourcing, phone screening, interviewing and database management
  • Supporting and contributing to People & Culture and Learning & Development projects and initiatives, the first of which is a major system implementation and integration.
  • Managing WH&S including oversight of our Employee Assistance Program, WHS induction, first-aid and fire wardens training.

You will understand that being a ‘people person’ is equally as important as drawing meaningful insights out of people related data and therefore, you will be just as happy engaging with our clients as you are developing reports in Excel.  You don’t have to be an expert in Excel, but you must be able to generate graphs and pivot tables or have the ability to quickly learn!

The Team

Our small team of 6 spans across Sydney and Melbourne.  We’re a highly engaged team of generalists and learning specialists and we’re ready to support you in these early stages of your HR career.  We’re a hands-on team, and we’re looking for someone who is happy to tackle anything for the good of the team and the firm. 

Experience

Practical HR experience is not a must, but you should be working towards or graduated from an HR (or related) degree and may have 6-12 months’ general office experience in a professional environment.
