The Role
Barrington Group are currently seeking a details orientated People and Culture Coordinator to join our head office team in Norwest.
The role will work within our People and Culture team to provide service to the Group as a whole for all People and Culture matters with a strong focus on supporting our Clubs Consulting arm of the business.

Key responsibilities:
- Coordinating recruitment processes
- Organisation of consultancy activities
- Managing online training functions
- Updating employee files
- Involvement in performance management activities
- Coordinating staff performance reviews
- Working with management at all levels on People and Culture matters
- Working collaboratively and efficiently on all matters
- Maintaining confidentiality and privacy
- Providing advice on awards and agreements
- Onboarding and orientation activities
- Publishing quarterly staff newsletters
- Organising staff events
- Working with the People and Culture team to drive culture
- Consulting on some HR/IR matters
- Development of contracts and agreements
- Liaising with payroll
Skills and Experience:
The right person will need to have a can-do attitude and able to communicate effectively with all clients, internal and external. You will also have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be able to move between tasks
- Strong communication across various mediums
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload
- Willingness to learn and be a team player
- Knowledge and understanding of awards and agreements
- Understanding of State and Federal legislation
- Excellent time management
- Previous experience within the Registered Clubs space
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by Privacy legislation
- Tertiary qualification preferred – Business or Human resources
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
