Job summary..
As a People & Culture Coordinator at Workers Lifestyle Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, development, and compliance. This position requires a passion for working with people and a commitment to delivering strategic HR solutions that align with our organisational objectives. The role reports into the People & Culture Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent, familiar with Seek and Expr3ss systems (desirable)
- Roster management using Humanforce (desirable) or similar rostering systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Administer employee rewards and recognition program and serve as a resource for benefit-related enquiries.
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a positive work environment.
- Manage leave processes and policies, including Annual leave, Parental Leave and other statutory leave entitlements.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives through training and development programs.
- Business partner & collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee relations issues and foster a supportive workplace culture.
- Maintain HR records (training and qualifications) and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with Monthly HR reporting and Intranet
- Manage employee enquiries sent to askhr inbox
- Assist with annual awards dinner and employee engagement activities
About you..
- Degree or tertiary qualifications in HR (essential)
- 2 years proven experience HR Assistant / Coordinator or similar role (desirable background in registered Club / Hospitality / Entertainment / Retail)
- 2 years proven experience and sound knowledge with rostering (Humanforce desirable)
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Attention to detail, highly organised and people person
