We are currently assisting our esteemed client in seeking their first People & Culture Lead to help support the organisation through their growth and optimisation strategy. Operating through three business verticals, they have a clear focus on rapid growth, aiming to triple in size over the next 3-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for a full generalist remit with a focus on creating and implementing standardised polices, processes and procedures across the organisation. Additionally, you will focus heavily on Culture, Engagement, Learning and Development and Health, Safety and Wellbeing. You will be responsible for building a People & Culture team from the ground up, working closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
Other key responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive learning frameworks and corresponding learning programs;
- Develop the Employee Value Proposition (EVP);
- Design tools and resources to support leaders in engaging and optimising team performance, including goal-setting processes, performance reviews, and succession planning;
- Manage risk by ensuring the organisation adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements through an effective HR policy and procedure framework;
- Oversee all Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with state-specific awards and regulations;
- Drive innovative ideas across the generalist HR remit;
- Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives;
- Manage the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) framework and promote employee wellness;
- Advocate for and champion health and wellness initiatives across the organisation; and
- Foster and maintain strong professional relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with over 7 years of generalist HR experience, ideally encompassing end-to-end management of most HR functions. A passion for innovation and process improvement is essential, as well as being solutions-driven and enjoying a vibrant, dynamic environment. Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills are crucial, enabling you to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation. You should have high attention to detail and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally. Experience in a service or sales environment across multiple locations would be highly advantageous.
