  • $86,810 per annum plus Superannuation
  • Full Time, Fixed term to 17 January 2025

About the role

The People Experience Centre (PXC) are responsible for triaging and responding to a range of enquiries made by the broader Organisation to People & Culture.

The People Experience Coordinator is the first point of contact for people related queries within People and Culture. Providing outstanding customer service, this role is key to the PeopleCentral support model and is accountable for the provision of accurate, consistent HR process and policy guidance across the employee lifecycle to employees and contractors of WorkSafe Victoria. This role supports the Team Leader - People Experience to respond or triage queries efficiently and effectively, facilitating an early intervention approach, in accordance with WorkSafe Victoria's policies and procedures. Key accountabilities include:

  • Educate people leaders and employees on the interpretation and application of the Victorian WorkCover Authority Enterprise Agreement, policies and practices and associated services.
  • Confidently and promptly respond to employee related matters involving the provision of detailed, technical and professional advice together with analysis and investigation to resolve more complicated and sensitive issues.
  • Consult with and triage appropriate queries to the Centres of Excellence within People and Culture, ensuring that follow-up and ongoing client interface and communication is maintained until the issue is resolved.
  • Provide end user support as part of the PeopleCentral (SAP Success Factors) service desk, including technical support and education across the business.

About you

You are passionate about all things People & Culture and providing best service at all times. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders. Your ability to prioritise workload and maintain strong attention to detail is what sets you apart from the crowd. You have strong situational judgement and problem-solving capabilities. You will also:

  • Have a broad understanding of employment legislation, industrial awards and agreements with the ability to provide sound HR advice via previous experience in a similar HR role.
  • Demonstrate that you can provide guidance and policy information to employees, people leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Have demonstrated problem-solving skills and judgement involving issues with complexity or sensitivity.
  • Have experience as a super user of HR systems.
  • Have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, organisation skills and the ability to work independently with limited direction to address fluctuating work demands, changing priorities and timelines.
  • Understand the value and embrace change in regards to operating environments, processes, systems, organisational changes and emerging situations.
