The role
In this newly created role, you will lead a team in the development and implementation of effective strategies, policies and programs to attract, develop and retain a high-performing workforce. You will also be responsible for designing and developing programs that strengthen employee and leadership capabilities.
Providing leadership in developing an organisation focused on its people, our organisational culture, continuous improvement and learning outcomes is a key focus as well as to develop and deliver an employee lifecycle framework that aims to support, develop, and empower employees at all touchpoints during their employment with the City.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience and knowledge of contemporary employee and workplace experience, workforce planning, recruitment and retention, equity, diversity and inclusion and organisational development practices.
Your ability to lead, motivate and inspire others is essential, together with excellent communication skills, change management and project management experience, strong analytical skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
A satisfactory police records check and Working with Children Check is required for this position.
