About the role:
This permanent full time role as the Performance Analyst is a key role in supporting the delivery of Unitywater’s strategic business objectives as part of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EMPO). The EPMO provides enterprise level planning, coordination, oversight, governance and assurance services across Unitywater’s portfolios which that enable the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives, including water and sewage capital projects, technology projects, business improvement projects, and strategic corporate projects.
The position supports the project assurance activities and provides advice to project and program delivery teams. The position is responsible for supporting the execution of the enterprise portfolio assurance program. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and compile status reporting from delivery teams to ensure reporting is submitted in line with defined reporting schedules and quality requirements.
- Develop regular EPMO reports on strategic projects and portfolios to go to the Unitywater Executive Leadership Team and Board.
- Design and develop additional management reports as required, to provide stakeholders with transparency on the progress and health of projects and the portfolio.
- Maintain portfolio level master schedule and reporting dashboards.
- Work with business units and project delivery teams to track subsequent benefits and return on investment.
- Collect and analyse data on project performance, benefits realisation and return on investment.
- Support the production of pipeline data analysis across dependencies, key resource needs and priorities.
- Work across the portfolio to monitor the anticipated delivery outcomes.
About you:

- Qualifications at degree or post graduate level in business, information technology, project management or related field.
- Project, Program and/or Portfolio Management Qualifications/Certifications (PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, PMP, AIPM or similar).
- 3+ years project or relevant experience, with experience working in PMO and/or managing projects, budget and financial tracking and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated advanced MS Project scheduling skills (Desirable).
- A quick learner with the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and attentive to details.
- Strong analytics and reporting skills in producing reports, documentation and presentations.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to execute good judgement in raising concerns and issues to management.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.
- High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and a sound knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire a sound knowledge, of Unitywater specific information systems.
- Agility to work within a team environment.
- Demonstrate experience in change management and communication processes.
