Overview of the position:
The Senior Performance Analyst will work within the Performance Test team to develop and execute complex performance tests for new and existing technology products using industry standard tools. They need to demonstrate extensive analytical skills, an ability to think outside the box, competency to mentor, train and support junior staff, and be able to work autonomously or as part of a team to achieve operational goals.
The Senior Performance Analyst is expected to:
- Create, execute and report on high-quality performance test artefacts such as requirements matrices, performance test cases, defects, test data etc. and adhere to section standards and guidelines.
- Coach, mentor, and provide on-the-job training to members of the performance test team.
- Create and maintain documentation to support performance test delivery, meet reporting obligations, and define quality standards for the performance test team.
- Initiate, build, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships between the performance test team and across the ICT Division, business, and operational areas.
- Contribute to strategic thinking and innovation within the performance test team to increase efficiency's in delivery of quality outcomes, and advocate for the team and its benefits across the organisation
- Provide technical advice on applications, systems, environments, data and tools (etc.) to the performance test team and stakeholders to facilitate test project delivery.
A strong candidate will have:
- Applied understanding of test performance tools and languages, including but not limited to NeoLoad and LoadRunner.
- Demonstrated experience in training and mentoring staff.
- Experience with differing delivery methodologies including but not limited to Agile, Waterfall and Devops.
- A Negative Vetting Level One is highly desirable for this position.
