Investment Information Services (IIS) will provide an opportunity for you to work closely with global operating sites, create relationships with the vendor and partner with Performance Operations to gain insight to client behavior. If you are the adventurous type, this is the role for you.
As a Performance Business Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for expedited onboarding of asset owner and asset manager clients from a legacy internal platform to an external platform. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in client operations, product technology, and product management across global operating sites. Critical to your success, will be a strong knowledge of performance, attribution and analytics products and their capabilities within the institutional client segment.
Job responsibilities
- Assist senior department leadership with project staffing and governance decisions
- Train others in the use of applications
- Lead/influence less experienced members of the team in matrix reporting environment
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendor and internal management/front line staff
- Partner with Performance Operations to understand client behavior where required
- Possess business-level understanding of platform functions (legacy and external)
- Work independently as well as on a team to verify performance/risk analytics at multiple levels across platforms using available tooling
- Interpret and write commentary on functional testing results
- Identify, document, and resolve production issues pre and post migration
- Provide concise client migration status updates and assist with prioritization
- Present findings, outcomes, and solutions at stakeholder meetings
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Industry experience: Preferably 15 or more years with institutional clients (5 or more years working with market leading performance, attribution and analytics software platforms e.g., FactSet)
- Deep understanding of systems/software development lifecycle
- Proficiency with office productivity software
- Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard and be on a steep learning curve
- Attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent preferably in business/finance or math
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Industry recognized professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) are preferred
