What You Will Be Doing
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinician with experience in Perinatal Mental Health to actively participate in the expansion of the Perinatal Mental Health Team. This alongside the expansion of the Infant, Child and Youth Stream at Peninsula Health, represents positive growth for delivering localised Mental Health care to support our community.
As the Perinatal MH Clinician, you will provide early intervention through assessment, brief intervention and community linkages for women at risk of, or experiencing, significant Mental Health difficulties during the course of pregnancy and beyond. The position is primarily clinic based across a number of sites across Frankston with the plan for further clinic sites to be established across the region.
This role is for 2 days a week based in Frankston.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
RPN ONLY: Post graduate qualification in Mental Health or specialist undergraduate Mental Health program
AHPRA registration or AASW registration
Experience and a passion for providing comprehensive Mental Health assessment, treatment and support for women with significant Mental Health difficulties in the perinatal period
Current Victorian Driver’s License

** Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
