St John of God Berwick Hospital, has a total of 202 beds, eight operating theatres , a cardiac/vascular laboratory .and six birthing suites. We provide a wide range of services caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including maternity, medical and surgical; offering state of the art equipment and facilities to our rapidly growing community. Hospital has a 16 bed Critical Care Unit with 6 dedicated Intensive Care beds and 10 Cardiac/HDU beds. Our aim is to deliver the very best in health care at our Kangan Drive Campus.
We are seeking a motivate and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join the Critical Care and Surgical ward.
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for for the delivery and assessment of education/training programs. The Educator will also be responsible for contribution to, and compliance with, relevant standards, policies and procedures that relate to nationally recognised training.
This Permanenet Part time position of 60hours a fornight.

The successful candidate will have:
- Ability to work within and actively contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Currently registered as a Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and mentoring/coaching skills with the ability to engage with a diverse workforce.
- Effective conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Well-developed understanding and demonstrated application of adult learning principles.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of quality improvement and relevant Accreditation and licensing processes and associated links to learning and development programs that promote quality service delivery and safety.
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, blended learning strategies and a range of computer packages.
