Perioperative Registered Nurse

With a national presence, this employer gives opportunity to allow for working across a variety of locations and ongoing growth within the organisation.Randstad are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work within the Perioperative unit.Positions are available in the following areas:

• Scrub/Scout (all specialities welcome)
• Anaesthetics / Recovery

This is a Full-time role (Part-time may be considered)What you'll be doing:As a Registered Nurse in the perioperative environment, you will provide patient-centred nursing care in collaboration with other health professionals and significant others to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient management.Key responsibilities:

• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
• Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
• Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, so as to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.
• Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and health care ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care.

Role requirements:

• Currently AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
• Demonstrated nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in a perioperative setting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
• Post-grad qualifications in Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetic/Recovery with relevant clinical knowledge and expertise highly desirable, but not essential.
