SalaryOur client in Beresfield, Newcastle is seeking an Experienced Workshop Mechanical Fitter to join their company on a permanent full time basis!
Hours and Rate:
Monday-Friday
6am-2.30pm. Early Finishes on Fridays!
$42.00ph
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Constructing heavy industry gear box
- Conducting Rotary duties (sealings, bearings, bearing housings, spherical roller bearing units)
- Conducting Linear bearings
- Conducting Power Transmissions
- Re-installing bearing induction heater
- Replacing and fixing Pumps and Brakes (drum and thruster, caliper and disc Brakes)
- Applying lubrication on equipment
- Operating 10 tonne over head crane
- Operating 90 tonne hydraulic press
- Operating 300 tonne hydraulic press
- General maintenance
About you:
- Must have Fitter Machinist Qualification
- Must have full working rights
- Physically fit
- Very strong attention to detail
- Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hard working
- Experienced mechanical fitter
- A good attitude and able to work autonomously
- Forklift license is a bonus
