Our builder client constructs homes in Queensland and New South Wales, based in the beautiful Central Coast. Building about 500 homes each year with a focus on quality, innovation, and making customers happy, they lead the way in the industry. Location: Central Coast | opportunity for remote / hybrid working
Salary: $70k - $75k + super
Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submitting Application: Help with the process of submitting building applications to private certifiers.
- Working with certifiers and councils: Work closely with Private Certifiers and Councils to get timely building approvals.
- Managing Approvals: Take charge of managing building approvals for projects in QLD and NSW.
- Problem Solving: Resolve issues or questions from private certifiers and Councils about building approvals.
- Checking for Compliance: Make sure that all plans and documents follow the conditions for building approval.
- Communication: Talk with Customer Service Co-Ordinator's about needed changes and suggest alternative when possible.
- Handling Changes: Check all documents for projects regularly, updating notes and forecasting approval dates weekly.
- Documentation and Invoicing: Keep records and handle invoicing for building approvals on a daily basis (if assigned).
- Team Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams to answer questions and keep documents up-to-date.
- 1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced administrative position.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously.
- Experience in the construction/ residential industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans/ drawings.
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction.
