Sekisui House’s residential communities and home building brand is SHAWOOD.
SHAWOOD was established, in Japan, in 1995 and brought to Australia in 2012, having built over 750 homes in Australia that time. SHAWOOD has a number of developments ongoing and to be launched soon, that this role will work across.
We are seeking two motivated Permits Officers to join the SHAWOOD team, responsible for pre-site requirements for the delivery of our premium home building and master-plan community projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Your New Role
Reporting to the Pre-Constriction Project Manager, you will be working within our Operations team in the Residential Communities and Home Building business unit.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Proactively manage and prioritise pre-site requirements and approvals to support the Home Building delivery program
- Provide regular and timely communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding their deliverables including but not limited to drafting, permits, estimating, accounts, procurement, council, certifiers, sales and customer service teams. Engineers & water service coordinators
- Coordinate documentation to obtain DA, CDC and CC approvals
- Provide regular and timely reporting to management regarding status and progress of tasks including approvals, identifying & communicating pending issues which impact the delivery program
- Provide office administration support including general office duties and general administrative duties where required
About You
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Clickhome software experience highly desired
- Understanding of the pre-construction process for new Home Building
- Excellent report presentation, literacy and business writing skills
- Proactive planner & organiser
- Strong computer literacy in Office applications
