Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Casual Personal Assistant to assist in launching and building our new car storage business. This role requires someone with experience in sales and accounting, who can support our team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have good customer service skills, detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients for our car storage services
- Conduct market research and identify potential customers and partners
- Manage inquiries and communications with clients via phone, email, and in person
- Assist with creating and maintaining financial records, including invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as billing, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial documents
- Provide general administrative support such as scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and maintaining filing systems
- Assist in coordinating logistics for vehicle storage and retrieval operations including parking the vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the business's growth and operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, and/or account management
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and experience using xero accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment
- Flexible schedule to work in with customers requirements
