Form of workWe are seeking casual Personal Care Assistants to join our care team at our Derwent Views in Hobart, Tasmania.

The Position: The successful candidate will become an integral member of our vibrant and encouraging care team. They will deliver proficient Personal Care, support, and aid to all residents, following the direction and guidance of the senior clinical team.
Key Duties:
- Provide Personal Care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
- Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required.
- Record observations on relevant assessment charts and documents any observed exceptions to the care plan in the progress notes; and reports such to the EN/RN.
- Check residents daily menu requirements.
- Attend to duties as allocated and or delegated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.
- Any other task not defined but within the employees skills, as directed by the organisation.
Requirements
Essential:
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in residential aged care.
