In this role, you will be providing person centered care and support to the resident according to their individual care plans, ensuring dignity, safety and security. You will support the clinical and lifestyle teams to allow residents to live the lives they value.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the best possible care to our residents (ensuring wellbeing and comfort).
- Supporting with daily living tasks (showering, meals etc.).
- Manual handling.
- Following direction from the Registered Nurse/s and managers.
What you need:
- Minimum qualification of Certificate Level III in Individual Support (Aged Care).
- Previous experience in a residential Aged Care environment.
- Proven understanding of and ability to support compliance with Aged Care Standards, Food Safety and other professional and legislative requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse range of clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively with in a diverse multicultural workforce and client base.
- Outstanding time management skills, ability to manage priorities and schedule to achieve outcomes.
- Understanding of workplace OH&S principles.
- Ability to speak Croatian is desirable but not essential.
- Current police check or the ability to obtain.
- Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia.
- Evidence that you have had the Covid19 Vaccinations, 3 doses minimum.
- Evidence that you have a recent Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
We are looking for PCA's who can commit to, at minimum, 3 days per week, Monday - Friday, only, no weekend work available.
Must have Aged Care experience to be considered.

Victorian Croatian Aged Care Services (Cro Care) aims to provide quality caring services for the ageing with dignity and respect, care, and support for each resident as an individual, in the tradition of the Croatian Australian community in our newly built Aged Care facility.
Set on a large site with beautiful, landscaped gardens, Cro Care is a newly built state of the art Aged Care home located in Geelong, with an allocation of 100 beds, including the ability to accommodate 28 consumers in our secure Memory Support Unit.
It consists of lounge areas, library, café, hairdressing salon, private dining area, landscaped gardens and numerous courtyards for residents and their families and friends to enjoy.
