AddressOpportunity for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to pick up either part/full-time permanent shifts at a medium sized Nursing Home in Port Macquarie.
- Take a person-centred approach. Get to know residents individually and then deliver care in a way that respects their choices and preferences.
- Show a high level of attentiveness, kindness, and respect.
- Support maintenance of privacy and dignity.
- Assist residents with Personal Care, such as dressing and showering.
- For those who require, provide support with day to day tasks like eating and social activities.
- Communicate effectively with the Nursing team regarding any changes you notice in residents.
- Work closely with the Registered Nurses, assisting as directed.
Key Information:
- Medium sized Nursing Home in Port Macquarie - less than 100 beds. Private ensuite rooms.
- Join an established not-for-profit Aged Care Provider with a large portfolio of Aged Care Services.
- Hourly rate as per Enterprise Agreement. Access to salary packaging to supplement your earnings.

Requirements:
- Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care.
- Prior experience working in Residential or Community Aged Care as a Carer.
- A passion for supporting our elders and improving their overall wellbeing.
