Help at Home by Montefiore is seeking motivated, caring and committed companions to support our clients in and around the Balgowlah area. In this role, you will be required to support our clients and keep them company while engaging in current affairs and general topics that the client has interested in.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Personal care (Shower assist, feeding, toileting)
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Social support and companionship
- Chaperone to appointments
Requirements for this role:
- Available during the week and on weekends
- Covid-19 Vaccine recommended but Mandatory
- High level verbal communication skills
- Impeccable presentation at all times
- Willingness to undergo an Australian National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Check
Desirable but not essential:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar
- CPR and First Aid certificates
- 6 months experience working in a similar role
- Current Australian National Police Check
- NSW Driver licence, car and comprehensive insurance
